Cookie Content

A cookie contains basic information regarding your visit to a specific website. The name of your computer or your name comes first, followed by the name of the website you visited. The content of the cookie is stored in a special directory on your computer. By double-clicking a file, you can see detailed information on the website and the date and time of your visit. The same information is stored with the administrator of the website you visited. This way, a lot of information can be revealed about your computer hardware and internet use. The cookies themselves do not contain information allowing the identification of unique users, but if you provide this information yourself, e.g. by registering, it can be linked to the data stored in the cookie.

By selecting specific settings, cookies can be deleted, blocked or used conditionally. The default browser settings allow cookies but block the installation of third-party cookies.
